#asktheexperts my baby is 9 days old and he has not passed motion since 4 days , please advice ??

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 6 m old boy3 years agoA. It is very normal for small children that sometimes they will not pass stool for 10 days also and sometimes they will pass stool more than 7 to 8 times per day.
If the consistency of the stool is Semi solid to semi liquid do nogt worry about the frequency of the stool.
No medicines needs to be given in such a case but you have to meet the doctor only if the stoolf consistency is hard.
It is advisable to give only milk to the child and nothing else before completion of 6 months of age

please give plenty of breast feeding to your child when you're child is demanding
please give daily massage with Babyhug massage oil
please give daily sun light exposure
