#asktheexperts my baby is 8 months old he has chronic constipation. he is on formula feed.. should we stop him formula feed. can formula feed be the reason of constipation.

Dr Raksha guptaMom of a 9 yr 6 m old boy3 years agoA. This is diet related constipation ,first of all restrict milk intake to bedtime only, switch to solid foods.
Offer kid papaya, seasonal vegetables soups, seasonal fruits.
Give proper toilet training,avoid usage of diaper.
May consult for luxuatives.,yes formula cause constipation
