#asktheexperts my baby is 8 months 24 days old having mild fever from 99to 100. He was suffering from fever before 15 days also does thi due to teething. How can I soothe him

Dr GhouseGuardian of 3 children4 years agoA. please do calpol drops the baby 1 ml 3 times a day Fever in the baby is because of the response of the body to any foreign infection there will be rise of temperature to fight against the infection treat the baby with paracetamol only if the temperature is more than hundred degrees Fahrenheit

It Could be a possibility if you are sure that your child is having its teeth then yes it could be a possibility you can give paracetamol to your child as of now and if the fever increases then start doing cold sponging in consult your doctor for another medicine other than paracetamol
