#asktheexperts my baby is 52 days old and she is sneezing with mucus and little cough and cold. can I give her Ambrodil drops? plz suggest

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Cold is most of the time because of viral illness and if the child is having recurrent running nose and nasal congestion it may be a part of allergic rhinitis also so it needs a proper examination.
steam inhalation will be beneficial in both the cases along with decongestant medicine like alex cold/ hatric 3/ sinarest.
As a part of viral illness there could be associated symptoms like cough and fever which needs tregdatment acbcordingly along with a proper hydration needs to be maintained .

Maintain a good personal hygiene and make your baby wear comfortable clothing. Continue breastfeeding. Consult your child’s doctor and seek further advice. Regularly massage your baby with Babyhug daily massage oil.
