#asktheexperts My baby is 4 and 1/2 month .For last few days he is doing black color potty.Is this something needs to worry.

Dr GhouseGuardian of 3 children4 years agoA. the colour of the stool in the baby will be ranging from light yellow to dark green depending on the type of feeding baby will be taking if it is black colour unless you're giving iron drops to have to consult a doctor

If You are giving any kind of iron supplement to the child then it is perfectly normal for a child to pass black colour potty because that is what an iron supplement does for as long as your child will continue with iron supplement the potty colour is going to be black
