#asktheexperts My baby is 3 months old,she taking a gap 4 to 5 days for passing stool is it ok ?? should I have to consult with Dr.??

A. Hello, your baby girl is 3 months old and she use to poop after every 4/5 days so don’t worry if the stools is not dried and she doesn’t have any trouble

A. constipation in small babies lesser than 6 month of age is very common and is more common when you are giving formula feeding in such a case you can give Himalaya bonnisan drops three times a day to your child and give frequent feeding usually medicines or suppositories are avoided in such a case and constipation of few days can be considered as normal. if the baby is having gastric pain you can give collimax drops.if you need to give any enzymele preparation to your child you can consult doctor
