#asktheexperts my baby is 2 months old but he has less sleep. please suggest

Author of questionGuardian of a 3 yr 6 m old boy3 years agoA. milk is sufficient. peeing properly. after massage and bath in morning only sleeps for one hour. he wakes up in night 4 am and after that won't sleep sound till next day evening.

Sleep Cycle in smaller babies is very different and they have a certain pattern initially which becomhies regularize at around 6 to 8 months of age and if the baby is comfortable with no irritability buecause of infantile colic nasal blockage any regurgitation etc you should not worry just give a comfortable position to the baby and no medicine is required.

Sunita MahatoMom of 2 children3 years agoA. he is having less sleep is the baby getting sufficient amount of milk if pee count is around 6-8 times then baby is having sufficient amount of milk the best way to put baby sleep give good massage before bed
