#asktheexperts my baby have running nose from 2 weeks,is there any remedy for him?he is 9months old

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Cold is most of the time because of viral illness and if the child is having recurrent running nose and nasal congestion it may be a part of allergic rhinitis also so it needs a proper examination.
steam inhalation will be beneficial in both the cases along with decongestant medicine like alex cold/ hatric 3/ sinarest.
As a part of virhval illness there could be associated symptoms like cough and fever which needs treatment accordingly along with a proper hydration needs to be maintained .

Try giving indirect steam inhalation. Use Babyhug cold rub. If the problem persists please consult your child’s doctor for advice. Use nasoclear saline drops.
