#asktheexperts my baby girl birthweight is 3.15. from 3rd month her weight gain is very slow she was 4.2 in 3rd month and now she is 5 months old with 5.5kgs only(around 1kg gain in 2 months). she is on breastfeedin,milk suppy and lacthing is all good. Do we need to consider on anything or is this normal.

A. dear Mum, a weight gain of 1 kg in 2 months is a normal weight gain, do not worry..baby should gain atleast 500 grams weight per month and should double the birth weight by 6 months.
