#asktheexperts my 4 months old baby is passing stool in 4 to 5 days but he is not passing normal school he is passing very hard Stool. so which medicine should I give him and how many times in a day please suggest is. thank you

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 10 m old boy3 years agoA. normally hardness of the stool is not seen when you are giving only breastfeeding to the child. it is advisable to continue only breastfeeding and nothing else till completion of 6 months of age. if still the hard stool continues you have to visit the doctor to find the cause.t but if youd are giving formula milk then there is a possibility that the milk is not properly digested by the child and you will have to change the brand of formula milk.
