Q.

#asktheexperts My 11 month old daughter is still dependent mostly on formula feed milk and doesnt eat solids much. I have tried various things but she hardly takes 3-4 bites and then asks for milk only. FYI she has just now only started sprouting her 1st teeth and weighs 8.6 kgs . I am worried that after she is 1 year old in 15 days, we will have to continue formula milk only unless she starts taking solids properly. What should I do?

A. hi. you have to gradually decrease amount of milk and increase quantity of solid food items. gently massage the gum pad area with cleab finger tip or moist cold cotton cloth
