#asktheexperts My 1.6 year old son is not gaining weight, doesn't take milk apart from her mother. He is less than 9 KG.

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. here for regarding good growth you should do a proper balance diet with all kinds of nutrients called green vegetables fruits and dairy products you can also give some multivitamin like syp bevon 5 ml for 1mth

If You really want your child to gain weight and eat and drink milk properly then it’s high time that you quit breastfeeding if you quit it that your child will be left with no other option other than eating and drinking another milk so I think you should definitely think of quitting breastfeeding now
