keep the child warm.
give more warm water to drink.
crush and boil tulsi and ginger and filter to make tulsi ginger water.
(honey can be added to this tulsi ginger water if age of the more than 1 year of age)
try to prevent temperature variations around child that is from hot to cold and cold to hot environment.
keep the child well covered.

Yes you can if you want I’ll tell you my recipe what I normally use it take little water add some grated ginger pinch of black pepper and turmeric into that boiled decent enough and then you add milk into it that’s what you should offer to the child it’s going to be very good for overall throat and coughing of your child
