I my son is 1 year old... 3 days ago he falldown from bed and got herted in the back right side of his head. We have noticed that there is swelling in little bit of portion of that area.. no black or redness nothing is visible. But still swelling is there.... What will I do?

Will it be safe to use ice during this winter season?

Any Fall injury specially head injury needs to be assessed properly . In any such case certain symptoms needs to be checked like loss of consciousness  reccurrent vomiting or any abnormal moment or convulsions . Such case needs  immediate medical intervention as there could be some internal injury . Otherwise application of ice locally to reduce the swelling and pain can be done along with some analgesic like paracetamol. 
Recurrent fall injury for a child should be avoided as it can lead to some chronic manifestations occasionally .
Also teethuh injury should be rule out in any such case which is commonly asshociated  and can be easily missed out most of the time .
