Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 6 m old boy2 years agoA. neck holding of the child should be present by 4 months to maximum 5 months of age.
regular massage of the back as well as the neck will help in strengthening the muscles of this areas.
if neck holding and head holding is not proper by the end of 5 months it is important to meet the doctor for examination to find thse cause of delayed milestones

it is natural process
and gradual too
just give enough tummy time to your child which help to strengthen Child's neck and head muscles strong
give gentle massage with Babyhug massage oil everyday
