#asktheexperts How much should Quinton's ideal weight should be. Also he is not talking yet, only one words like mama, car, Is this Speech delay in Quinton why is he not able to talk normally like kids of his age

Uma RamMom of a 7 yr old boy2 years agoA. Hai good afternoon !! The ideal weight should be 9.8-14 kg.
General kids speak around 9-11 months small two letter words like mama,dada,papa but speak two word sentences by 2-2.5 years .
Check if baby speaking small sentences,responding to commands,eye contact,mingling with kids or not.
If baby not responding to commands,not replying by speaking ,speaking less than 50-60 words then consult developmental paediatrician or speech therapist for assessment.
