Q.
#asktheexperts hlo doctor my baby sleeps for 12 hour in a day,,2 hours in afternoon and 10 hours at night.. actually i want to know when my baby sleeps during day he wakes up twice in between 2 hours regularly on same times..& at night he also get awake 2 - 3 times but time vary here.. is it normal?

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy2 years agoA. sleep will be taken according to the need of the child so if the growth of the child is proper do not worry much about the sleeping pattern and sleep hours and it will obviously change from time to time and then stabilize.
if overall the child is play full and is well dresponding then do not worry about the hours of slee and the will not have any problem.
(please note if sleep is inadequate then growth will not be proper so if growth is proper then no need to worry about sleep)x
