there are different reasons which can cause such behavior
like daydreaming, sensory overload, fatigue, ADHD, stress etc
so first,pay attention to the situations where your child seems to blank out and try to indentify any trigger or pattern.
try to have talk with your child, gently ask him what he experiencing during this moment
please be consistent with his schedule as it can help kids to feel more secure and help to reduce this
