#asktheexperts hi mam my baby is 2 and half month now . she does motion just once in 3 to 4 days. what should be done?Is there any issue or it's ok?

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy2 years agoA. it is totally normal for small children less than 6 months of age not to pass stool for 10 days also.
it is also normal if they adre passing stool more than 6 or 7 times per day.
if the consistency of the stool is Semi solid to solid there is no need to worry about the frequency as well as the colour (thde colour can range from yellow brown green to black) of the stool.
also straining while passing urine and stool is normal.
Do burping for 15 to 20 minutes

Nihita mittalMom of a 7 yr 9 m old boy2 years agoA. good afternoon it is very normal and completely common for small children to be having constipation I would recommend that you should try to put coconut oil in the rectum of the child to get rid of this issue
