#asktheexperts hi doctor… my daughter is 1 year 8 months old… she is having loose motions from 6 days on day 1 she was having fever but now she is doing loose motion… we met with doctor and he has suggested CADO and ZIFI 100 syrup for 3 & 5 days… but till now it’s not cured… please suggest what should I do in this case?

Loose motion are most of the time infective where it is associated with fever and vomiting and its known as gastroenteritis where symptomatic treathtment along witjh management for dehydration is required if loose motions are associated with foul smell mucous high grade fever than it could be bacterial infection which needs antibiotics treatment
