#asktheexperts hi doctor, my boy is having cough and congested nose, can I use mucolite drops to him.he is not sleeping well due to this

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children1 Year agoA. Cough and Cold along with the symptom like Fever loss of appetite irritability could be a feature of viral infection or seasonal flu where most of the time supportive treatment is given.
atulong with that cough expectorant and decongestant with antiallergic medicine given.
steam inhalation can be given frequently to reflieve the symptoms.

RashmiMom of a 11 yr old girl1 Year agoA. If it has been suggested by the doctor that you can give it to the child because the child is only two months old I would not suggest you to give any medicine without consulting the doctor and also if you want you can nebulae the child that also helps a lot
