#asktheexperts Hi doctor my baby trying itching left ear , is any complications in her ear, she is 8 months old.

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy11 months agoA. It's normal for children to rub or itch their ears. If they're not crying, there's no need to worry. You can apply coconut oil to ease the itch, but avoid using earbuds for cleaning. Clean the outer ear with a cotton cloth. Treat only if the child cries with pain, possibly using paracetamol. Causes may include referred teething pain or dry skin.
