Q.

#asktheexperts Hi doctor, my baby is 15 months old. We have missed to give pcv1,pcv2,pcv3 to him. Now can we give pcv booster to him ? Please suggest.

A. there is no problem you can take the vaccines now also to the baby that is pneumococcal vaccines It is always advisable for the baby to take the vaccinations according to schedule if you have missed the vaccines because of the ongoing pandemic now we can take the vaccine for the baby no problem

A. Hello dear parent! Inform your child’s doctor about the pending vaccinations for your baby. Considering the present situation the doctor will advice you accordingly. Follow your doctor’s advice diligently. Get your baby vaccinated as per the vaccination schedule. Continue breastfeeding. Good luck and take care.

Q. #asktheexperts My daughter is 1 yr 4 month old. We have given pcv1,pcv2,pcv3 from private hospital,as it is not available in govt and rest other vaccines we have given from govt hospital,we have missed pcv booster which has to be given in 15 month from private hospital.Now pcv booster is available in govt but they are saying we give pcv1 and pcv2 . PCV booster is given in 12 month.
