#asktheexperts Hello sir,. My son is 5 years now, he will pass urine in bed every night. My doubt is when he is small he will tell us if he want to go for toilet. But now he is telling he doesn't know that he passed urine while he is sleeping. What is the solution for this

DR SHIWAJIRAO PATILGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Hello, your baby boy is 5 years old and he is having a nocturnal enuresis so don’t give him plenty of water before sleeping and get his pee examined for any infection

It Is very normal till the age of 6 to 7 years because kids do not have proper bladder control so I’m going to advise you as of now that you shouldn’t be worried you should just take your child to the washroom every two hours in the night slowly gradually once your child learns to have control on bladder things are going to be much better and do consult your doctor ones
