#asktheexperts hello my son has got fungal skin infection. He is just four months old. Can i apply oilatum paraffin cream to reduce fungal skin infection. Does paraffin cream are effective in reducing skin infection? I am apply oilatum cream from last one week. It has reduced infection a lot

Jasmine KaurMom of a 9 yr 3 m old boy3 years agoA. Hello dear parent, if your doctor has prescribed you with this ointment then you better apply and it must be safe. But if you are just applying over the counter creams on the fu gal infection then that should be prescribed one. That can cause harm to the baby as well
