#asktheexperts Hello my daughter is 1 year 1 month old or 57 weeks. My daughter has not started walking. Is it OK or not?please suggest

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. a baby will start Sitting with support by 6 months of age and by 7 to 8 months baby will sit wwithout support than by 9 months usually baby crawls and in 10 months baby will stand with support.
After 12 to 15 months baby will start Walking independently and sometimes it may take even longer but in no case any Walker should be avoided as it can cause recurrent fall injury and delay in the walking because the child lacks confidence of walking independently.

RashmiMom of a 11 yr old girl3 years agoA. If your child is standing with support then that’s fine if your child is walking with support then that is fine independent working for a child can come by the time of 15 to 17 months also so nothing to be worried aboutWrite Your Answer Here
