#asktheexperts Hello mam, my 4 year daughter not concentrating in studies in school, she is not interested in story listening, she can read all alphabet, songs, numerical, and even actively participating in all activities but her teacher says she is very smart but she is not sitting at one place more than 8 to 10 mins, she always want new activities. how to improve her concentration? pls advise

I think your child is hyperactive and the problem with hyper active kids that they don’t stay to or speak to a place for more than five or 10 minutes or maybe 15 minutes so let your child give some time talk to the school authorities let your child be for the same for a month or two slowly with regular counselling the child would learn to understand and learn to sit at a place it is just a matter of time the school people just need to have patience with the child
