#asktheexperts hello Dr. my baby is 4month 21days old, I'm giving her LIQUID diet but she did not gain waight...her birth weight is 1.7 now she is 5.5..

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy3 years agoA. you cannot give any type of diet before completion of 6 months of age of the child and you have to stick only to the milk and the weight gain if it is 500 grams or more per month is good enough

Hello there ma’am please do not worry about it too much if baby is active and semi solid diet should be given after six months and also give baby breastfeeding and formula milk and also baby weight should be doubled the birth weight in first six months at least.
