#asktheexperts Hello Dr, My baby is 4 months old and he doesn't sleep in bed, he needs a lap to sleep all the time. Please tell me how I can get him rid of that habit?

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy2 years agoA. very common that during initial few months the child gets comfortable sleep only in the arms or lap ofz the caretaker and when you shift to bed the child might start crying.
this is fine and normal and usually improve with age.
you can use swadling technique as well as cradle sleep to improve thez sleep cycle of the child.
