Cold is most of the time because of some viral infection or allergic condition and symptoms are usually sneezing, running nose, nasal congestion and fever. cough along with throat irritation are  usually associated .
Treatment consists of antiallergic antipyretics analgesics and decongestants medicine .
As a home remedyy steam inhalation would be very useful .
Medicines like wiktoryl / tminic / Alex cold can be used  in a proper dose  for 3-5 days as per the symptoms .
Steam inhalation is repeated frequently .

This is a very heavy as such a bad taste probably which is why your child is vomiting in out because as it Is  very very bitter Which is why maybe your child is not liking it so you know I would just advise you don’t give any medicine as of now consult a doctor tomorrow for any other medicine which would be better￼
