#asktheexperts hello doctor,my son is 5 month and 12 days old,when flu shot should be given to him.

Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 5 yr 9 m old girl3 years agoA. it is at 6 mnth completed. Vaccine and vacccation is very important specially in these scenario . Some delay is ok though in primary vacccation there should not be any delay . Flu vaccine should be given if eligible as some cross reaction with covid .

After six months of her age she can get the flu shot I e. influenza vaccination
make.surr she's well prior to that
take sunbathing daily with her head and ears covered in the morning
