Q.

#asktheexperts hello doctor my daughter is 7 months old suffering from cold and cough with mucus . My doctor prescribed Ascoril LS 2.5 mL twice a day and HDN solution ( Hydroxyzine Hydrochloride Oral solution IP ) 2.5 ml at night. But I have doubt for HDN shall I give to her. My daughter weight is 8 kg.

A. Mam as per as I know the doctors prescribe medicines as per the situation that is there and they are totally safe to be given to the child but if you have a doubt about anything into your mind then please crosscheck with your doctor before you proceed with the medication
