#asktheexperts hello doctor,my daughter has completed her 5 th month. she doesn't have enough milk. she hesitates to drink formula. can I give any other foods to her??? she looks lean. she gains just 5 1/2 kg.

A. hi dear Your baby doesn't need anything except breastmilk or infant formula for their first 6 months. Even after they begin eating solids at around 6 months old, breastmilk or formula will still provide the majority of your baby's nutrition for the first year.
