Hello Doctor,

My baby is 5month 3 weeks old. I'm giving Lactogen 1 from 1 month using paladai.. Now he is being little cranky to drink milk and not drinking properly. Is Lactogen 1 is not enough for him? Should I start giving Lactogen 2?

Milk is very important for babies specially in the initial days of life breast milk is very important and should be given exclusively till 5-6  months of age .
formula milk should be given only as a substitute to breast milk if due to any reason it is not sufficient to fulfill the demand of the baby. according to the age different stage of formula milk are there like stage 1 till 6 months of age stage 2  from 6 months to 12 months and thereafter stahge 3 .
after onde year cows milk should be started and any kind of health drink powder in milk should be  used only after the completion of two years of age .

hello lactogen 1 is fine till baby is 6 months and may be the baby is not satisfied and you can try using an attractive sipper or bpa free bottle like Babyhug which cc an help baby to accept the milk and any concern then it is better to check with your doctor and your doctor will be able to guide you
