#asktheexperts hello doctor! my baby girl is 5 months old and weighs 6.7 kg from when I should give iron syrup or iron supplements?

ExpertDr. Minal AcharyaNutritionist8 months agoA. dear mum , iron supplement is generally not suggested no supplement or medicine shd b given to the baby without consulting with the doctor exclusively breastfeed baby till 6 mths complete

RashmiMom of a 11 yr 3 m old girl8 months agoA. See it is not mandatory to give Iron supplement but he is mandatory to give multivitamin vitamin D supplement to the child for one year after birth so stick to that don’t give any other supplement without consulting your doctor
