#asktheexperts Hello doctor.My 4 month old baby has suddenly become very cranky especially when he is sleepy. During that time he refuses to breastfeed even when he is very hungry which makes him even more cranky. He also takes a lot of time to fall asleep and doesn't sleep well during day time.

ExpertDr Laxmi Chavan-SawantAyurvedic Gynaecologist 2 years agoA. this is mostly present when baby have colic pain due to gases in the stomach so you should concentrate more on burping your baby at least 3 to 4 times after each feed

SanthoshiMom of a 8 yr 1 m old girl2 years agoA. Hi not to worry It's quite normal in newborns .That's how they function. It's not a concern. After few months they will start to follow a sleep routine. Follow a sleep pattern ensure to put your baby to sleep at the same time every day. Getting cranky is quite common
