Are you sure that your child has an awareness of that you’re calling him by its name because what happens is in Indian household specially when you called your child from 10 different names sometimes you don’t even know that they get confused they don’t realise that you’re calling them to make sure that you know that the child first acknowledge is that is the correct name for the child and second the child is understanding everything then that should not be a problem also also check if the child makes an eye contact while you are saying any child is listening to you because that is also very important because if all the things are in place and it’s not a problem but if they’re not in place then it may be a problem
