#asktheexperts Hello doctor, I just wanted to say that my baby girl is 2 years 26 days old but she only speaks papa papa mum mum. when she talks properly?

Sunita MahatoMom of 3 children1 Year agoA. babies speaks basic words at 1yr and at 2 to 3 yrs they start to speak fluently...
keep encouraging as break the words and sentences and let the baby repeat after u..
let the baby mingle with same age grps...

AmbikaMom of 2 children1 Year agoA. consult a speech therapist as this can be delayed speech but don't panic as my elder daughter spoke after 3 years and she is very fluent in her language now.
