I consulted a second opinion and my doubt was right. The first doctor prescribed overdose. This dose was for adults. And I must say firstcry's #asktheexpert is a waste of time and peace.

When your doctor has already prescribed you the medicines after examining the child and suggesting you that it is typhoid then you should go ahead with the medication if your doctor is advising so also if you’re looking for a second opinion then you have to take it personally with the doctors because you’re over here the doctors are going to advise you to go with what other doctors are suggesting whom you have visited on a personal level
