#asktheexperts for how many days jaundince stays in a newborn’s baby after birth as the level of jaundice was 8.6 on the 5th day after birth. Can baby now wear yellow color clothes or should we wait more to use those clothes because of jaundice. He is exclusively on breastfeed.

If Your child is fine completely definitely you can make your child wear yellow clothes it mostly takes about 24 hours to 48 hours for jaundice to subside and the degree that you suggested is actually not very high so that’s fine I think your child should be fine within 24 to 48 hours of phototherapy
