#asktheexperts dr my baby willl complete 3 month in the next 3 days she weighs around 3.9 kg her birth weight was 2.674 n after weight loss it was 2.4 how can i gain her weight she is exclusively on breastfeeding. I have tried formula but she doesn't take.

ExpertDr. Minal AcharyaNutritionist3 years agoA. Dear mum, your baby’s weight gain has been normal, do not worry. You should continue with exclusive breastfeeding till the completion of 6 months. That’s the most healthy way to gain weight. At one episode of breast feeding, feed from only one breast so that baby receives fat rich hindmilk which will help in weight gain.
