Janani ViswanathanMom of 2 children3 years agoA. Both toned milk and cows milk have their own pros and cons. Cows milk is rich in fat but is not treated. So even after boiling sometimes there could be harmful bacteria present. So u have to ensure the cows milk is bought from a reliable source where they maintain hygiene. Toned milk can be comparatively having lesser fat content but is treated, cheaper and easily available. But some healthy bacteria might also get killed during the pasteurization. Babies above one year old will not need any more milk than 500ml. So u can give a total milk intake upto 500ml per day split into two or three feeds. Anything more than this can fill the the baby's tummy and the child may start resisting other foods.
