cough needs to be treated with anti allergic and expectorant bronchodilators or antitussives medicine  which should be used once a proper evaluation by the doctor is done and  according to the type of cough its prescribed.
if any  feverhj is there paracetamol can be given to reduce the temperature and the dose can be repeated again after 6 hours  if required .
