#asktheexperts Dear doc My 9 month old got cough n cold few days back i was giving her medication prescribed by doc initially timinic followed by otrivin pedia thrice a day . Later after 3 days she started coughing too so again as prescribed by doc I’ve started giving Astha kind syrup thrice a day again with otrivin pedia thrice a day since its for loosening the cough and I could hear the mucus when she coughs or breathes at times , is it normal how will this mucus present vanish or come out ? Are there any home remedies i can start ? Suggest

ExpertDr Disha PatelAyurvedic Physician2 months agoA. ok. give him steam inhalation or nebulization a couple of times a day. do mustard oil massage your baby, feed him a few tsp of ajwain water, it will help him.
