it is in diagnosis of allergic cough cold .
here the child will have regular cough and cold which is usually not associated with fever .
it increases and decreases but does not get cured completely.
dr will give anti allergic medicine usually motelukast / levocetirizine. if its still not improving the next line of treatment will be inhaler therapy with mdi / nebulizer.
allergy can be environmental (temperature variation -hot to cold dweather/ cold water intake / dust / smoke / pollens) , food , chocolate / packet preservatives food and sweet food also.
body cannot sustain such allergic changes leading to cough cold usually at evening /night and morning.

regular coughing can be result of allergic reaction to dust or pollen etc or it can be result of low Immunity
so please get it checked with your pediatrician
keep your child well hydrated
give Luke warm water to drink
avoid giving oily , spicy,cold and sugary food items frequently
