ExpertDr Bandana JoshiAyurvedic Physician3 years agoA. If the body temperature is around 99F then give calpol drops to the baby and repeat the dose after every six hours interval and give more liquids and for cough give one teaspoon honey twice a day by adding little black pepper powder to it

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Cough along with Cold most of the time is a viral illness and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration. you can give steam inhalation which is very useful .
cough needs to be treated with anti allergic and expectorant bronchodilators or antitussives medicine which should be given only aftegr a proper evaluation by the doctor according to the type of cough.
if fever is there paracetamol can be given to reduce the fever and the dojse can be repeated after 6 hours again if required .
