#asktheexperts Can urine routine examination come clean ( no bacterial/ any infection ) signs but same urine culture can have > 100000 CUF/ml E coli. ? Does this indicate urine infection or UTI?

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy3 years agoA. increased frequency of urination is common in children. it is important that if this continues for more than three days you should meet the doctor to rule out any type of urine tract infection. try to maintain hygiene of the urinary area
in this case it is important to rule out urinary tract infection in the child for which which urine report as well as urine culture needs to be done.
kindly give plenty of fluids to drink to the child and maintain hygiene of the urinary area and contact your doctor at the earliest
