#asktheexperts Can I use cough syrup (soventus jr)whith nebulizer (1 time Budecort 0.5 and 2 times levolin 0.63)..lz help...baby age 3.6 years

A. It’s also suggested to use medicines in the machine without consulting the doctor I do agree that the medicines you are suggesting are good to be used but these nebulising is not suggested with medicine without reference

Q. hello dr..my baby is 22months old...from past 6 months he is suffering with cough and breathing problem some times, , so pediatrician adviced nebulizer(Levolin&flohale) with soventus syrup...we used nebulizer for 4 months continuosly for his cough...from last 2 months we stopped using nebulizer and just using soventus syrup , when ever cough occurs 3ml,1 or 2 times a day based on severity...is there any permenent solution for cough? is syrup or nebulizer is safer to use for such long time?plz advice
