ExpertDr. Swapnil SaxenaAyurvedic Physician3 years agoA. similac or any formula makes that so, so Don't worry about green stools because it is very commonly seen if your baby is having mild cold and cough or drinks formula milk.
Moreover the consistency and the frequency of stool matters more than the colour.

yes it is normal
it is caused by iron supplements of formula.
so as such no need to worry
but if a child passes green stool with mucus and foul smell too then please visit your pediatrician.
