6 months is exclusive breast feeding. Post that you can start complementary feeding. The child would be on complete solid diet by 10-11 months.
If you baby is on formula milk, it is advisable to start complementary food from 5 months itself.

NikithaMom of a 10 yr 9 m old boy4 years agoA. hello you should exclusively breastfeed your baby till the baby complete six months and you cannot give you baby any food till then and if the breast milk is not sufficient then you can be giving your child infant formula milk and do not give any food till 6 months
